Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-11-03

These terms apply when you install or use Pavo, the desktop and mobile apps and the services behind them, or the heypavo.com website. If you do not agree, do not use Pavo. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.

Pavo is operated by Cedarwoods Labs LLC.

Questions: support@heypavo.com.

1. What Pavo is

Pavo is a workspace for dictation, meeting notes, notes, tasks, calendar, scheduling, and booking links. Many features run on your computer. Some features need a Pavo account or send data to Pavo’s servers or to third-party providers; the Privacy Policy lists them.

2. Accounts

You can use much of Pavo without an account. To create an account you sign in with your email address through an emailed link; there is no password. Keep access to your email secure, because it is how you sign in. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Plans and payments

Paid plans are not open yet. When they open, the price, billing period, renewal, and cancellation terms will be shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe, and you will be able to manage or cancel a subscription from the Stripe customer portal linked from the app.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of your dictations, notes, audio, calendar data, and anything else you create. You give Pavo permission to process that content only as needed to provide the features you use, such as transcription, backup and sync, AI answers, and scheduling. That permission ends when you delete the content, subject to short delays for deletion to complete on our servers.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Cloud features and third parties

When you use a cloud feature, data is sent as described in the Privacy Policy. If you connect a third-party service, such as Google Calendar or an AI provider with your own API key, that service’s own terms apply to your use of it. Pavo does not control third-party services and is not responsible for them.

7. Software and updates

Pavo may check for and download updates. Updates install when you quit the app. You may use the software for your own personal or internal business use.

8. AI output

Transcripts, summaries, and AI answers can be wrong. Check anything important before you rely on it. Pavo is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice.

9. Ending use

You can stop using Pavo at any time by uninstalling it, and you can delete your account in the app. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if the law requires it.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Pavo is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Pavo and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or lost profits, and total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Pavo in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We will update the date above, and for significant changes we will say so in the app or in release notes. Using Pavo after a change means you accept the updated terms.
